the JANE'S CAROUSEL should be opened to the public for rides in brooklyn bridge park in december next year, housed in a glass structure designed by the starchitect jean nouvel. this vintage carousel from ohio that jane walentas restored by hand for about two decades is now just quietly sitting in a cramped storefront on water street. can't wait till people, with the childlike sense of wonder, ride on it and then all will magic begin
